I received this frantic call from a lady in Ohio. Her two daughters found a furnished condo for rent on Craig's list, signed the rental agreement for 3 months, sent the money, drove to Daytona Beach and found out that somebody lives in this condo, and that owner had no clue about any ads on Craig's list. They were scammed.Mom called police, and then called every number she could think of, and finally the Chamber of Commerce gave her my name and number. We were remodeling a 2-bedroom/2 bath condo on the ground floor of a 2-story condo building.The guy above is a renter. He takes his two large dogs for a walk, stops to chat. We have couple of local groceries with great prices. The email, which hit my computer, stated that I provided incorrect information on my website. The author claimed that in my description of one of South Daytona condos I had minimum rental period of 1 month, however, when she called the City of South Daytona, they told her that minimum rental period in the city was 6 months.Can it be that Declaration of Condominium has 1 months, and the City – 6 months? Being in vacation and event spot means that you get mighty competition. I remember my lazy photos of Shuttle launch made from Ponce Inlet, and before I got down to my condo from the garage, which was couple of minutes, and wrote a short blog, I was stunned to see a blog post already published by Gary Woltal, and boy, what a phenomenal photo of this Shuttle did he have there. Ralph Schoenherr is the newest member of the South Daytona, FL City Council.  Ralph G. Schoenherr won the election for the City Council seat recently by a special election to fill the vacancy and beat out Joe Piggotte, Jr.  The election was held to fill the unexpired term of former City Councilman Ron Clifton, who resigned in January.  The term for the City Council seat expires in 2012.
