I recently read an article re-emphasizing that this is a great time to buy Real Estate, especially here in Florida. The article pointed out the abundance of homes on the market. The highest number in some 15 years.Pricing declines over the past year make this a great time to buy.Real Estate is still a very good investment. According to the article, the return on five percent down-payment over ten years is usually three to five times greater then stock market returns. Interest rates continue to be at a favorable level which lowers and makes payments more affordable. In addition, Florida voters approved Amendment 1 allowing Florida home owners to transfer their "Save Our Home: tax benefit from their existing home to a newly purchased home. The new property can be Upsizing or Downsizing.Thes...

One of the many favorable features of living in Sun City Center is the fact that you don't have to start your car up to go anywhere in Town.  Golf Carts are a legal second means of transportation. Although Sun City Center is considered a Golf Community, you don't have to be a golfer to own a golf cart nor are you restricted to operating them solely on the golf course.  A lot of folks buy them as a means to get around Town. During daylight hours, youcan travel on any of the road in town with the exception of State Roads 674 and 301. And of course you can't drive them on the Interstate highways either (although we have had some folks try).  There are three (3) authorized crossing areas on State Road 674 for golf carts.  There are also alternate routes to get you to the shopping areas with...

For more than one third of the residents of Sun City Center, Golf is the name of the game.  Whether you are just a hitter of the ball or a soon to be legend (the new Tiger Woods), playing golf at Sun City Center is fun for everyone.  With more than 160 holes of golf spread out over eight courses, the choices just don't end.  The fact that the courses are open year-round, just adds to the delight.  Sun City Center is also home to the World-renowned Ben Sutton Golf School.  State of the art practice and training facilities are at your disposal.  Swing in to Sun City Center for some great golf.

Sun City Center's South Bay Hospital is wanting to move to the Big Bend Road location in Riverview.  I is unable to expand at it's current location and it needs to expand.  This poses a problem for the residents in Sun City Center.  Right now there is a free transport service to the hospital with the local volunteer emergency squad, however they don't leave Sun City Center so this free service would no longer be available. They do plan to leave the emergency room and continue to have rehab services along with diagnostic services.  It will be interesting to see how this all works out.  We do need a bigger hospital and Riverview sure could use a hospital, however Sun City Center losing their hospital won't be a good thing at all.  Why can't we have both??
