I was going to a wedding this weekend. Which is why I didn't make it out to NAR. It was the perfect time to get all dressed up! I don't dress up to often and none of my kids have seen me in a gown. Yes in business clothes and a blouse and skirt but no gowns. Well I got all dressed up and headed out to the wedding. The kids were at my in-Laws so they didn't get the chance to see me. We got back early and they were playing out back. When my husband and I walked back my 2 year old stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me. All he could say was OH MY GOODNESS! I almost peed myself from laughing so hard. Everyone in the house could not stop laughing. Well it will be awhile till I get all dressed up again, but here is a shot of me and my husband. OK I am down to the last book. And let me tell you out of all of them, this one is the BEST!! Like I told you before I have been obessed with it and havae not been able to put it down. Book 4 has close to 800 pages of unstopable reading! I know many of you really aren't into this type of reading. But I can assure you that its not what you think. If you are one who loved the Romeo and Juliet type of reading, then this is the book for you. IF you are more into mystery, this is also for you. Every year I sign up to see what stores will be offfering on sale on Black Friday. In case you are not sure what that is, its the day after Thanksgiving. The stores open up early and just about everything is on sale. Now I am not crazy enough to wake up at 4 in the morning to be at the stores for 5am. My mom and sisters have, but there is no way I will do that. But I do go later in the afternoon, or even over the weekend. I have gone to Wal-Mart at midnight and done my shoping at that time. So the other day I wrote about the Twilight Series and how I have been abscessed with it. Well I went and bought book three on Wednesday morning and it was 700 pages. I was like this one will take me a few days! I was done within a day and a half. I actually had to force myself to go to sleep. Then I twist and turned all night trying to figure out what was going to happen next. I had to go to work on Thursday. They saw me with the book in my hand. We got to talking and now I have them excited about the book. I went today to drop off book one to one of the girls and she has already started reading it. This morning I had went to target to pick up book 4. They were sold out. I panicked, I was like how can I finish, when I can get this book. I was asked to read a book for someone, and as you know I love to read. My children are also avid readers. This book was for kids with separation anxiety. My son has this, so I was more than happy to read it. I sat down with my kids and started to read it to them. When I came to certain parts of the book, he would mention to me like you and me mommy. So I was very happy that he understood where the book was going. Its about a pig and his Mom goes back to work and the little pig is sad and scared. So the Lady that comes to take care of him goes on a special adventure and learns there is lots to do to get his mind off of mommy. Before he realizes its time for mom to come back home and is so excited to tell Mommy how his day went. Mom son just loved the book! Can't wait till it comes out, ... 11/04/2008

Have you ever read a book and was so mesmerized that you couldn't put it down? Well I am an avid reader, always have been. I had heard about this Twilight book and just brushed it off. I love a mystery, I like to be kept at the edge of the seat wondering what will happen when I turn the page! I didn't think that this series would do just that. Boy was I wrong. I could not help myself. I bought the first of the five books last week Wednesday and was done by Friday. I then bought book two yesterday and was done by the end of the day. Now mind you, each book is about 400 pages. When I bought the book yesterday I didn't think it would be so fast that I finished the book. But I could not put the darn thing down for the life of me. Today my kids and I did our Home Depot projects. Have you gone yet to do any of there projects? If not you should give it a try. Today we build leaf presses. This is a great one, to be able to dry the leaves and make use of them after. Here is my issue. I grew up in New York and had the chance to be able to see the changing of the fall leaves. All those beautiful yellows and oranges and reds. We love Sunny South Florida, but I would love for them to see these leaves in person. Its not the same in the pictures as if you had one in hand. So here is where I ask my ActiveRain northern friends, if by any chance you can send me any fall leaves that have changed colors yet. Its that time of the year. Did you forget? November 2 is the day we fall back. I almost forgot till I was reading a magezine. Seeing pictures of the fall leaves, the changing of the colors. Finding them on the ground and making piles just to jump in them. I miss those days! Don't get me wrong, I love Sunny South Florida. The other day I posted Diwali was coming. Well today is the day. My kids walked over to Agee(Grandma) and Aga(Grandpa). 6pm rolls around and they do there prayers and then light the candles and place them throughout the house. Here are some pictures. Yesterday the City of Tamarac had there Halloween Hoopla. They were set up for lots of activites outside, with a bounce house, face painting, sack races and more. We were waiting on line to get my daughters face painted when it started to rain on us. So we had to run indoors. When we got in there was more to me done. Arts and crafts which is my daughters favortie thing in the world. From there in the Gym was more games and prizes to win. in the main part of the building was a Haunted House, which we did not touch since the kids are to young for that and would be scared for life!. I think the city did a great job with this event. They gave out bags filled with stuff inside for the kids. And all this for free!!! To bad outside got rained out. For those of you who do not know what Divali is. It's a Hindu holiday, Festival of Lights. The Goddness of Lakshmi. I am not Hindu, but my in- Laws are. All of my children have Hindu middle names. I wanted to give them a piece of there nationality from there grandparents. This holiday comes at the darkest time of the year. If you go out on Tuesday night you will notice how dark it is. OK I am an iPhone user and LOVE IT!! The only problem I had was not being able to access the MLS since the phone is not IE. But our board (South Broward Board of Realtors) have somehow came up with something new and great. It's MLX Wireless. At first I glanced over it the other day when I logged on. I thought I can't use this, so I closed the window. I logged on again today and it popped up again. So I read further and in one of the drop down menus for phones there was the iPhone. I thought can this be for real? You guess right. I regirsterd and within seconds I get an email saying registration complete. And sure enough I can search the MLS from the phone!!! You have no idea how excited I am about this. And on top of it, its fro FREE!!!! Our board is suppling this for free! I'm LOVING I... 10/24/2008

I had a very long day today. Inspection issues, insurances issues with my car from my accident last week, and other things going on. So I am changing into my sleeping clothes when my daughter says mom, look you are wearing a purple shirt and purple shorts. Well I tell her you know mommy use to sing a song when I was in Middle School or as others say Junior High School, for a chorus production. But I couldn't remember the words. She says how could you forget the words? Well it was a long time ago. I went to youtube to see if I could find it there. And sure enough there it was. So I played it for her and she just enjoyed the song as I knew she would. Now she is trying to sing it herself but can't keep up with the pace and is getting all twisted up.
