Back in May I wrote a post about Tax Free Week. Well it comes to find out that they cancelled it. The state decided that we will not be doing it this year. At one point we were but then I find out that they never voted on it this year.  First, there was one. Then, there wasn't to be one. Then, maybe there would be a shortened one. Then, there was confusion. Spokeswoman Renee Watters at the Florida Department of Revenuein Tallahassee put the matter of the back-to-school sales-tax holiday to rest: There won't be one this August. "The Legislature never authorized it," she said.   Will it be back next year? Not sure. This is usually a very anticpated time of year. The two-day Sport Lobster Season is always the last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday in July, beginning at 12:01 A.M. on Wednesday and ending at 12:00 midnight on Thursday. So yesterday my family and I were going out for our weekly morning breakfast and run our errands at the same time. We were going to Publix for groceries as well and he suggested we empty the kids piggy banks and changed them for bills. Well the kids were all excited. They ran to there rooms and bought them out. I got some shopping bags and were placing them in there. My daughter reminded me of the one up on her shelf that she couldn't reach. I went and got it and started to empty it, I didn't realize how much money she had in there! Then there was one in my son's room as well on top of a shelf. He too had alot in there. Once of the things I love the most when going home in Woodmont, Tamarac, Fl. Is the entrance to it. This is coming of Univeristy onto 78th st. It use to be all of 78th, but after Wilma we lost a lot of trees. Now its only at the beginning. And love to come through it everyday. So this weeks challenge was an eye opener. I thought it was going to be an easy week. Guess what I was wrong. Man trying to be creative with a shoe string budget is not as easy as it sounds. Everything cost money. So it took me a while to come up with some ideas. Midori kept shootimg them out at me, but I also had to feel comfortable with the ideas. I want to be able to take what we have learned and adapt it to my business. She is a trooper though, she has a lot of patience. Guess being a trainer you need to have it. Funny when we first started this competition she told me you are going to get sick of me. I told her I think it will be the other way around. I ask a lot of questions. So I am trying different places to take the kids during the summer and this is one place that is great. Its a water park and pool. The entrance fee for Tamarac residents is 3.00 for adults and 1.25 for kids under 12.  And to think you can  spend the whole day there and enjoy. My kids enjoyed there time there! Here are a few photos of what it looks like from the inside. What is great is this place offers swimming lesson as well for children and adults alike. Sunset Point Park, Tamarac, Fl This park is conviently located at the end on McNab Road. This park is one of my childrens favorite place to go. Once we get there I can't get them to leave. As my daughter would say its a good place to get there WIGGLES out!This park also has a Fitness Path with several different exercise to be done while you walk. I know why the Real Estate market is hurting! There are Agents who don`t understand what their job is about. Many agents form opinions for their clients before presenting an offer. They attempt to "Kill the Deal" before it ever makes it to the closing table. Our jobs are to present offers, that means we accept the offer from an agent and than contact the seller informing them of the offer and wait for the seller to decide what they wish to do next.
