Tequesta Home Sales Jump 36% in October Still trying to catch up after a well deserved vacation and a return to a south Florida real estate market that is hot, hot, hot. While I quit reading the newspaper and listening to news on the TV I get more than enough from the internet and know how the talking heads report how bad everything is with the economy. Somebody forgot to tell home buyers how bad it is because they continue to spark the amazing rebound we have seen this year. Particularly strong is the single family home market and well priced waterfront properties but we are seeing strength everywhere. Watch for a big sale coming out of Martin County soon. Tequesta Home Inventory Levels Up 3%Wow what a little havoc a well planned holiday can play. Working like crazy to ensure I took care of my clients before leaving the country on a little vacation then coming back to a real estate market that is on fire has put me behind on my blogs; way behind. With the Thanksgiving weekend upon us I knew the annual slowdown we experience this weekend would allow me to catch up and for that I am thankful!  Real estate sales throughout the north county area have had a strong showing for most of the year but we have seen some a little softening over the past couple months. Tequesta Pending Sales Drop to 9 Month Low   The local real estate market continues to chug on down the road towards another season and our northern friends can already be seen around town. Every time I drive by one of the clubs a truck is out front unloading cars. It will be interesting to see the impact they have on real estate sales in the upcoming months. One thing for sure is the market is constantly changing; this week interest rates were up considerably as were foreclosures for the second week in a row. Tequesta Single Family Home Sales Drop Below the 12 Month Average Another very interesting week on the front lines in the south Florida real estate market. Of note is a significant increase in foreclosures in Palm Beach County , the continuation of declining inventory levels and interest rates that remain at all time historical lows.
