Friday Foto:  Morning Walk along the Weeki Wachee River This winter has brought unusually cool temperatures to our area but the water temperature of the Weeki Wachee River is a constant 71 degrees Fahrenheit year round.  What must feel refreshingly cool in the summer heat of August, appeared to be comparatively warm as the Weeki Wachee River releases vapors from its surface into the air.  It was an early morning, daylight had broken, but the sun was partially obscured by a cloudy sky.  A light breeze moved around these swaths of warmer air over the water surface and gave the Weeki Wachee an almost "steamy" appearance! 36th Annual Fall Harvest of Art and Weeki Wachee Springs State Park If you didn't have the time today to visit the 36th Annual Fall Harvest of Art that is presented by the Spring Hill Art League you will have another chance tomorrow, Sunday, November 21, 2009 from 10 AM to 4 PM.
