Friday Foto:  Morning Walk along the Weeki Wachee River This winter has brought unusually cool temperatures to our area but the water temperature of the Weeki Wachee River is a constant 71 degrees Fahrenheit year round.  What must feel refreshingly cool in the summer heat of August, appeared to be comparatively warm as the Weeki Wachee River releases vapors from its surface into the air.  It was an early morning, daylight had broken, but the sun was partially obscured by a cloudy sky.  A light breeze moved around these swaths of warmer air over the water surface and gave the Weeki Wachee an almost "steamy" appearance! January 2010  Real Estate Market Report: Glen Lakes Golf and Country Club Community, Weeki Wachee, Spring Hill, Florida Home sales activity in January 2010 in the in the Glen Lakes Golf and Country Club Community increased considerably with eight properties going under contract.  Compare this to November when there where no homes under contract. Inventory of homes for sale in Glen Lakes has decreased to 74 homes total.  Currently only one of the homes offered for sale in the Glen Lakes community is offered as a foreclosure/REO home.  Average and median list prices remained stable with only slight adjustments. 36th Annual Fall Harvest of Art and Weeki Wachee Springs State Park If you didn't have the time today to visit the 36th Annual Fall Harvest of Art that is presented by the Spring Hill Art League you will have another chance tomorrow, Sunday, November 21, 2009 from 10 AM to 4 PM.
