Announcement! Whole Foods is coming to Wellington Florida.   Ground has been broken! Finally we won't have to drive for 30 minutes to get to a Whole Foods. Right now we either have to drive to Palm Beach Gardens or to Glades Road In Boca Raton.   Whole foods is my favorite place to shop for most all my organic and natural foods, produce and yummy hot food items and salad bar delights. They also have the best prices for Tom's Toothpaste, Kava Kava and bulk Basmati Long Grain Brown rice which asbsolutely tastes delicious. Organic popcorn can be bought for a great price in bulk too. In Wellington Florida-the Folke Peterson Wildlife Center is actively engaged in saving Florida's wildlife. They get called to go to many places all around Florida to pick up injured wild animals, nurse them back to health and then release them back into the wild. At Discovery Quest at the Gold Coast Christian Camp they have the most awesome nature classes for homeschool families. One of my favorite things about living in Wellington Florida is that we actually live just 14 miles from some of the nicest beaches in Florida. Not only that; it takes only 20 minutes to get to the beach from Wellington Florida. This is close enough that you can pack up and go to the beach in the middle of the week, after school and before lunch! Yet, it is far enough away that we have never been evacuated for a hurricane. Proper Dryer Vent Installation includes: The path of the dryer duct: Any lint that escapes the dryer's lint filter should be blown right outdoors. (Any accumulation which occurs in a dryer's ducting is usually a sign of poor air flow, especially at the location(s) it occurs.) Short Sale Miracles do happen and one happened here in Wellington Florida.  This story starts back in last September when we took this short sale listing. We had sent out a direct mail piece to people living in the Olympia subdivision in Wellington Florida who were listed in our county records as having foreclosure filings against them. This wonderful woman called us over. Her listing agent did not know how to do a short sale and his broker did not want the listing if it went into short sale status so they had this listing listed way too high for the market. The Village of Wellington had a meeting last month about raising our taxes. We all emailed the mayor and all the counsel members that we do not want our taxes raised here in Wellington Florida. The whole idea of our property taxes to be lowered that was placed on this past January's ballot was to not raise our taxes. This measure was overwhelmingly passed by the voters. The message was loud and clear, we want lower property taxes. So the State of Florida had to comply with the voters and lower our property taxes. In November we will have another chance to vote to lower our property taxes even more by eliminating the school tax from our property tax bills. CATS Gymnastics- Is Wellington Florida's Top Gymnastics School. How can I say that? How do I know that? Why, because my son who is going to turn 6 this year has been a student there since he was in the Mommy and Me class at 6 months old. Short Sales In Wellington Florida- Why would you or should you sign a soft note to close on your short sale property?   When you are doing a short sale on your property our first goal is to get you a fully satisfied mortgage pay off reported by your lender.
