Having a great home inspector is a key part of purchasing a home--someone who doesn't know what they are doing could overlook a major problem with the home that may lead to some very costly fixes down the road. You definitely want someone with a lot of experience and an attention to detail. Mrs. GarageGuy and I took a couple of youngsters to see Monsters vs. Aliens a couple of days ago... 3D and on an Imax screen.  Anything worth doing is worth overdoing. And the Imax screen at the Regal, Mall of Georgia is showing the movie in 3D. The Duluth/Buford average home sales prices has broken down significantly over the past four months. The number of sales had been going down quite a bit also but year over year they have remained the same. Total days on market is trending up over the past four months.  The sales price to original list price ratio is slowly turning up also.  Maybe we are reaching a bottom here.  The next few months will tell us much. The numbers below are for single family detached homes in FMLS area 62. Links to stats for other areas are at the bottom of the page.
