One of the newer entertainment venues in Cobb County, Georgia is the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre.  It has featured many talented artists and ensembles over the past few years.  On Friday, October 15th, Cirque D'OR and The Golden Dragon Acrobats will perform their unique theatrics. The show was rescheduled from July 9th due to a power outage caused by a severe thunderstorm. Cobb County's fabulous Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre continues to bring great acts to metro Atlanta this season, including John Michael Montgomery, one of America's top country artists who will hit the stage Friday, September 10th. Born in Kentucky, Montgomery has released 11 studio albums and produced two number one country singles, "I Swear" and "Sold (the Grundy County Auction Incident)". Music fans in Mableton, Georgia will be treated to a blast from the past this Friday - and a doubleheader at that!  Two rock bands will be featured at the Mable House Amphitheatre and attendees will hear both for the price of one!  Survivor and Starship will hit the stage beginning at 8 PM.  Survivor had several hits through the 1980s, including two smash themes from "Rocky" films. The group's big break came in 1982 when Sylvester Stallone commissioned them to write the theme to "Rocky III." The result was "Eye of the Tiger," an instant hit with its explosive opening riff and catchy chorus. The song spent six weeks at number one on the Billboard charts and pushed the album, of the same name, over the one million sales mark.
