In Sleepy Kona You Gotta Go to the Big Events! FYI - The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce 4th Annual Building & Design Expo is this Friday, July 18 - Sunday, July 20 It will be held at the Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa Convention Center. It's Open to the general public on Friday from 5 - 8pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm and Sunday 9am - 3pm. I have attended in years past and it was well worth the time and trouble. This year they have thought ahead and are offerring free shuttle service from the Keauhou Shopping center to the resort. Parking at the resort is limited and it can become a mess. If you don't go early on Saturday, I suggest you consider the free shuttle.
