I was checking up on my clients condos in Wailea Ekahi today. It's just a bit strange that these luxury properties are almost all vacant.  On the other hand it's so nice to travel through Wailea and Makena with no traffic. Well looking at market reports for Maui, things have slowed down, and it's more of a buyers market. I still am getting showing but it's on properties under $1,000,000.  With interest rates so low buyers are taking a second look where they were sitting on the fence.While the high-end market has slowed down, we are seeing oceanfront condos in Makena going into escrow with a list price over $2,500,000. Wordless Wednesday: Green Sea Turtles in Maui  We discovered these 10 green sea turtles (aka Honu) on a small rocky beach at Makena Landing near Wailea, Maui on our trip several weeks ago. We never would have seen them without the help of a fellow tourist who pointed out this hidden area where they were resting. We were about 20 feet away from them.
