Building a Privacy Fence in Blue Grass Iowa. I started early Saturday morning the 4th of April 2009.  I was lucky to be able to use the old fences 4 by 4's.  I connected the 2 by 4's in with 3" wood screws.  I also used 6' Dog Earred style wood pieces.  The Dog Earred pieces were installed with 1.5 inch wood screws.  All pieces were installed as level as possible.  We do our best to make Blue Grass, Iowa Properties a little better with each improvement.   For all Blue Grass, Iowa properties go to www.FowlerRealtyHomes.com

Lets just throw the Financials, Home Builders and the rest of us (Realtors) under the bus of uncertainty.  We waited all week for Tim Geithner to say something with a little sustainance.  Instead we still do not know which way lending institutions are going with the bailout or the write downs of their toxic assets.  The Dow was down 382 pts or 4.6% today on no action or back bone from the Treasury Dept. A little bit of Landscape goes a long way in Blue Grass, IA and Everywhere. When Staging a home its great to do the inside but what about the landscape? Make a list about what are the things that make people want to buy the property. 1.  Mow the grass 2.  Do the weed wacking. 3.  Put in decorative rock. 4.  Level the lot and fill in the holes. 5.  Fertilizer, grass sead, and fresh flowers. 6.  Scrape & paint house. 7.  Power wash the Fench and Deck then Stain. 8.  Prune all the bushes and trees. As most people know Fowler Realty is on the Blue Grass Parade route.  We were all lined up to see the 2008 Blue Grass parade when about two hours before the rain came down hard.  So the parade was canceled.  This was a dissapointment to all of us out in Blue Grass Area since it only happens once a year.  All the clowns, cars, floats, and horses had to be put away until 2009. Blue Grass Iowa Market has slowed down tremendously in the first two quarters of 2008.  New construction along with resales have decreased around 10% in price and about 50% in number of sales since this time in 2007.  June is a busy time of the year.  Everything is stagnant.  Blue Grass buyers can view most Blue Grass homes from our website at www.FowlerRealtyHomes.com
