Are inspections really that important?  I believe that the answer is yes.  There are many types of inspections and many types of homes.  Unless your a handyman type of person I would suggest at least a generalized inspection such as the Whole House Inspection.  Maybe they don't specialize in lets say the roof but they can atleast tell you if there is a leak (most of the time).  What do you think?

How important is the first picture in a listing?  I believe that it is critical to have the best picture of the front of the house be the first in a listing.  Especially when the buyers are few and far btwn.  There are too many other properties FOR SALE to not have the first picture be the best.  Should this picture have a slightly elevated view of the property?  Should you have your sign in the picture?  There are so many variables that decide what is important.  Any comments?

How do you as a Realtor capture the FOR SALE BY OWNER in the Quad Cities and the Nation?  That is a question that I wish I could answer. I have tried to hit them with Mailers, Emails, SEO Search Word Combinations, and even a little door knocking.  I have noticed that in the areas that I am well known I receive a little more respect to direct marketing.  So this all depends on my overall marketing plan.Does anyone else have some insight on capturing FSBO's?

In 2007 Fowler Realty increased its market share in the Quad Cities for many reasons.  We had a more aggresive and diversified advertising campaign.  We used Mailers, Cable Tv Ads, Flyers, Yard signs, the MLS, and the Fowler Realty Website www.FowlerRealtyHomes.com We also have a larger group of people that we have done business with called past referrals.  Another way to ad to the Fowler Realty market share is by using Active Rain by having public blogs.  Things are moving in the right direction for Fowler Realty.  Thank you Quad Cities.
