The owners of the "Field of Dreams" film location near Dyersville, Iowa, have put the site up for sale. Don and Becky Lansing say they love the land, which has been in Mr Lansing's family for more than a century, but they think its time to give it up. The Field of Dreams baseball diamond is in the middle of a cornfield. The film, based on the book Shoeless Joe by W P Kinsella and featuring Kevin Costner, was released in 1989. The site has been a popular tourist destination since. For sale is the baseball diamond, a two bedroom house, six outbuildings and a 193-acre parcel of land. The Lansings haven't listed a sale price The Lansings have maintained the baseball diamond themselves since Universal Studios built it in four days and used it in the movie.

Dubuque Real Estate E-Blast Did ya miss me? Don't answer that, because I know I missed writing more than a few tantalizing blog posts these last few weeks.  Three youngins' under that age of two and a half in the home will to that to a fella.  I usually write in my "off-hours" at home while taking in a good game or movie, but between the lack of sleep, the crying, and dirty diapers, it's been a heck of a month or two over here.   Well, regardless the business churns along, and it's actually been quite busy, we've seen quite an expansion in Dubuque's market inventory, see the market stats in a forthcoming post.  The side benefit to this expansion is the vast number of choice listing to feature in this week's featured homes post coming a bit later as well.   Lastly, there have been a lot...
