Sandpoint West Athletic Club (SWAC) is located near all in Sandpoint, Idaho.  This is a "four star" athletic club in my opinion. And coming from Newport Beach and San Fernando Valley areas, in Southern California, I feel I know of what I speak.   A unique Health Club in the heart of North Idaho! SWAC is kept immaculate daily.  Never have I walked in and seen the least bit of untidiness.  Owned by Don and Sue for almost 20 years now it is a well oiled operation.  A couple of staff members have been there since Don and Sue took over.  That says so much about the managing style of this couple.  It is very seldom that I see Don that I do not thank him for such a nice athletic club here in Sandpoint. Most anybar will have a TV of sorts anymore.  That does not automatically classify it as a sports bar.  Having a big screen with the game on and no sound does not really make for enjoyable game watching.  Sitting in a corner with you neck crooked up to see a Screen almost ceiling high is not going to work.   Lou's Bar & Resturant is a great choice. The clouds would clear just enough today to give peeks of Schweitzer Ski Resort. We all have been to garage sales.  I have not out grown the habit.  Years ago when in Truckee, Lake Tahoe area, they would have community garage sale days on Memorial Weekend and Labor Day Weekend.  People would, through out the area,  plan their garage sales for that weekend.  Local businesses joined in with huge sales on seasonal items that would have to be stored, if not sold.  This grew in popularity creating large numbers of individual garage sales.  My former wife and I would get up early and make our way to our favorite coffee shop. I believe we all have those sales that are just a bit more important or gratifying than others.  The sale of this condo happens to be just that way for both parties.  The sellers have waited years and two other agents prior to me.  Not over priced in fact lowest on the mountain.  Sellers would not reduce their price and I did not request them to because I saw the value where it was priced.     Prospective buyer asked me what was wrong with the condo because it was so low priced and had been on the market for so long.  Spoke for quite a while and honestly explained that the condo was in perfect condition with new appliances and everything someone would look for in a Ski Resort getaway.  I told her I had YouTube and Tour Factory that would help show the layout of the small studio even bet... 10/06/2014

I recently visited my friend Heather Mehra-Pedersen at her upscale B&B Talus Rock. For the better part of a decade I've been hosting and cooking for the Winemaker's Dinner at the Festival at Sandpoint Grand Finale. We were meeting at Heather's retreat to finalize plans. Let me tell you right here before you read further, there is nothing else like Talus Rock in Sandpoint or Bonner County. It really is extraordinary. Like many projects, TRR had it's rocky start. While walking Halley downtown yesterday I could not help but notice the people enjoying the wide variety of resturants offered in Sandpoint, Idaho.Even more fantastic is the number, of establishments, with outdoor seating enabling people to enjoy not only their food but the ambiance of Sandpoint on these wonderful summer days.  The food menu's vary from the simple cup of coffee to a full steak dinner with most everything in between. The list is impressive so not all are pictured. Unless a different city is stated all restuarants are in Sandpoint and within 4 or 5 blocks of one another.  I am sure I have unintentionally missed a few.  Know this is not ALL the resturants in town.  Only those with outside seating in no particular order.
