All About Bartlett, Illinois A great place to raise a family! Bartlett is a village located in both Cook County and DuPage County, Illinois. A small parcel on the western border is in Kane County. The population was 41,208 at the 2010 census. The community was named after founder Luther Bartlett, who offered land to the railroad. The village was incorporated on June 21, 1892. People are always asking me “Lyn, how many homes are selling?”   Well that seems to make a difference is what area or subdivision you live in.  It’s really not an evasive answer.  Each area and subdivision is totally different!  Here’s what I can tell you about the overall Bartlett market –Single Family Homes -  Bartlett averages 32 home sales a month.  Inventory is slightly up over the last few months and is highest amoung the surround towns.  The percentage of homes going under contract each month is 24 to 30%. Homes under contract dipped only for June. Market time is 116 days which isn't exactly quick. Average Sold Price was $255,987 for the 2nd quarter 2013.Multi-Family Homes - Bartlett averages 15 sales per month. Inventory is low but higher than single family homes.  The percentag...
