Geneva Home Sales Up Despite NAR's Pending Home Sales Index Home Buyers Alive and Well in Geneva, Illinois The National Association of Realtors released their Pending Home Sales Index today.  This is a forward-looking indicator based on contract signings.  As you may have heard in the news, pending home sales in August were down 1.6% nationally. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!     As you can see in this image, pending sales in Geneva were UP in August.  As a matter of fact, they were up 44%!
