Today I attended a memorial service for a friend of mine, who lost his brother in law last year to cancer.  Rob Mullany was an 11 year veteran of the  Glendale Heights Police Department, a husband and father of 6 children.  Rob was only 37 years old.  Rob is a very well respected member of the community and made a big difference in the lives of many.  Unfortunately what Rob left behind is 6 beautiful children and a wife.  One of the children is handicap, his name is Connor. Unfortunately Connor's disabilities make it very difficult for him to walk without assistance of a walker, to develop and mature as a "normal" child, or to possibly ever live on his own.  Yet everytime I see Connor he has a smile on his face from ear to ear.  After church tonight, I told my husband that we really hav...

On Monday, July 30th around 6:30pm....look up in the skies. The RE/MAX balloon is taking off from Glendale Heights. For flight to be successful the winds must be coming from the north, east or northeast and must not accede 10 mph.
