Well, you already are if you live in McHenry, IL through your property taxes.  I don't think that's too big of an amount.  I pay 20 just for Netflix.  I do use the library but not as much as I should.  Just saw this in the McHenry Pubic Library District newsletter.  They estimate the service population at 35,500 and there is 22,014 card holders.  Does that mean there is over 13,000 people paying $12/month and don't have a library card?  Not sure.  There's a lot more than books and movies, theres classes for kids and adults, and a bunch of stuff for children and teens.      12/14/2008
