Lack of Income Is Why Home Sales Have Eased    Real Estate today should be a buyer’s paradise.  Lenders have in excess of  $2 Trillion available for buyer's.  Property values remain at or below their historic affordability levels in most markets, and foreclosures have fallen to levels last seen in 2007. Although the explanation is complex, the short version is this:  A large number of buyer's attracted to the relatively affordable Prices of Homes and extremely low mortgage rates, are unable to qualify for a mortgage, due to a lack of Income, which is down in many markets. I am taking a poll of thoughts regarding whether or not we are headed for Higher Home Prices in "2015"? We all know that interest rates have a definate effect on both the re~sale Price of Homes and the Real Industry in general.  What our your thoughts on where Interest Rates are heaed in "2015"?    My thoughts are that interest rates will have to remain at these historic low levels in order to keep the housing industry in a continued state of recovery.  It will be interesting to see just how our New Year shakes out for all.
