On the Proposed Illiana Expressway - a Tollroad  that would connect I 65 in Northwest Indiana with I 55 near Joliet, IL. St Jude House in Crown Point, Indiana serves as a safe shelter for victim of domestic violence and sexual assault and their dependent children.  Every year nearly 400 adults and children come to St Jude House seeking safety.     This is the Stimulas Package that we needed to help move the 100k and under and the 100k to 150k market in Real Estate. I have even heard some people in the Industry say that we might have a Tax Credit next year as well. The property tax cap here in Indiana that is coming up I think will start to help the Luxury Market as well.  Ive been showing a great deal of Forclosed and vacant homes in the Falling Waters subdivision. There are some great deals on the homes out there. The taxes out there are some what high. The good thing about that is that in 2009 there will be a Tax Cap for Indiana that will cap the taxes 1.5% of the sale price of the home, cutting the taxes out here in half. Lenders are really checking Solds more in depth then they have been in the past. They are really looking at 6 months out instead of your standard 12 month.
