It was one year ago today that Amanda and I decided to join Century 21 Bradley here in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Boy what a difference it has made! We came from a small and virtually unknown company to the #3 selling Century 21 office in the country.  At first we didn't think it was going to be THAT much different.  We were wrong.  :)  The staff - We have a full time staff here including a managing broker, an office manager, two folks in book keeping, and of course, the girls at the front desk that answer all of the calls.  The hours are M - F 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Sunday 12:00 - 4:00 pm.  It's very rare that we ever get a direct call from another agent to see our listings.  Our staff here is amazing! The trending topic around ActiveRain these days is how hot the real estate market is. The same story is true here in Fort Wayne.   Homes are flying off the shelves.  A lot of listings are getting multiple offers, turning them into "highest and best" scenarios.   Lately Amanda and I have seen this trend in the investment world as well.  We have an investor that we work with that has missed out on 3 investment properties in Fort Wayne because he was beat out by other buyers.  It's okay though, because he has his proven system and sticks to his top dollar and all of these homes sold for more than that. The Fort Wayne real estate market is ABSOLUTELY CRAZY! Inventory is low. Listings are flying off the shelf.   This morning we just sold our THIRD listing this year in 3 days or less. Buyers are coming out of the woodwork. Buyers are losing out on homes due to multiple offers. Foreclosures are getting snatched up by both investors and home buyers looking for good deals. Homes are selling on average for 96% of list price in January and February of 2013 in Fort Wayne. Open houses are packed on Sundays.   The phones...  they are a ringin.
