Lighting ceremonies begin at 5:15pm at the History Center on Barr Street with the lighting of the turret. The full schedule of lighting ceremonies and activities including the Festival of Trees, Santa and his Reindeer lighting and Headwaters Ice skating can be found on the website.  A great way to kick off your Holiday season and continue or start a Fort Wayne tradition.  The evening concludes with my favorite activity, Fireworks at Parkview field starting at 7:45. Night of Lights 2015: Wednesday, November 25!5:15 pm – History Center Turret Lighting (Barr Street)5:30 pm – Christ Child Festival Nativity Lighting (Ross Building on Main Street)5:45 pm – Aunt Millie’s Northern Lights (Pearl St...

Some of you who follow my blog know that I'ma big believer in first impressions and their importance. Particularly when it comes to having your home for sale. Curb appeal, the front door, how the home smells, the foyer closet (What's in your closet?) all play a major role in how people will view your home before they take more than 2 steps inside.       It is said that a buyer will form a opinion about your home within 7 seconds. Is your home prepared to make those first 7 seconds count?        Think of preparing your home for todays market much like you would prepare yourself if you were going to a job interview. You know that you have to be better prepared and make a greater impression than everyone else they meet that day. I don't think you'd find it acceptable to wear parachu...

I had some time between appointments the other day and thought I'd take a little relaxing stroll through Freimann Square and maybe get some scenery photos for a future blog. I didn't realize that I'd come across this giant Monarch Buttefly who was taking in the flowers as well.  Wish I had my good camera as I wasn't prepared this day and had to resort to my phone camera which doesn't have the greatest resolution, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture the moment
