The Air Force Thunderbirds were at the Gary/ChicagoInternational Airport in Gary Indiana recently.  Because of its convenient location to Chicago, longer than average runways, and great facilities, the Gary Airport is often the launch point for air shows such as the Chicago Air and Water Show.  I was fortunate enough to be at the airport as the Air Force Thunderbirds were getting ready to leave to their next location.  This was the morning after the air show.  I was fascinated as I watched their pre-flight preparations.  Every thing was done with such precision.  Each move seemed carefully choreographed.  I was taken back to my days of being enlisted in the Air Force.  The days of standing at attention, salutes, and reasons for each step taken.  What surprised me in the case of The Thun... 09/16/2009

Yesterday, after dinner @ Miller Bakery Cafe,  I reminded Jeff WGN News in Chicago did a spot on the upcoming Chicago Air & Water Show This weekend and it looked like the Gary Airport was a spot where alot of the fighter planes and other aircraft were being housed / parked before & after their performances. Yeah, I was looking the same way you are looking right now when a good friend and investor was at my house watching the Cubs open the 2008 Baseball season. He had just got off the phone with a realtor in Gary Indiana( Gary is 26 miles from Chicago) of whom he had just bought 3 properties and was in the process of buying more. When he got off the phone, he was asking me if I was getting a lot of business in Indiana. I told him yes, but it wasn't selling properties, it was helping people that were going into foreclsures! He mentioned to me something that I had never taken into consideration. All of these homes in NW Indiana that are going into foreclosure are going to be bought by the Government if people don't buy them first.
