Goshen,IN ....a hot ticket on a Frozen Weekend. Despite the frozen temperatures and threat of Blizzard conditions, Goshen, Indiana held the 7th annual Fire and Ice Festival in downtown Goshen, Indiana. Hundreds of people braved the bitter cold to take part in the Ice Carving competitions. The various sculptures spent the day carving their artistic creations, while the public look on. Goshen has their monthly "First Fridays" celebration with this month as no exception.  The public can vote on the various sculptures on the First Fridays Facebook page.  Monday evening will determine how many likes each piece received.  Awards will be given to the top 3 most liked sculptures. A Verbal FSBO Contract, Uhmmm, What? My Preferred Mortgage lender, Roger Maxwell with Guaranteed Rate Mortgage called me a while back and said, I have a possible referral for you, but before you get too excited, I just want to let you know these folks have a verbal contract on a For Sale By Owner home that they are currently renting.  At this point they are qualified to buy but are under obligation to buy the home they are living in.  Right now they need some answers about the process and to know if the home will appraise on what the Owners are asking for it.
