I remember having conversations with agents that have been in the business a LONG time.  We talked about how it used to be back in the day... They said that the MLS was a giant book. They said that they used to have to use a map to guide them on their showings.   What??   With today's technology I schedule showings with the push of a button.   My office is set up with an amazing feature for our sellers.  When another agent submits a showing request on their listing, they automatically get an email and a text with the agent's name, and the time of the request.  They have the option to respond to the email or text to confirm the showing. How cool is that??  Normally, when I'm setting up showings, I just plug them into the GPS and off I go. Well not today.   I am showing 5 brand new constr...

I just wanted to contiune on things you can do to help sell a property in a slow market.  As I mentioned earlier pricing is the major factor.  Other things that you can do is get your client to remove all the clutter in their home.  I know they say "but we like our stuff and it's our home".  The way I look at it is when they decide to list their home it's not really theirs anymore.  They SHOULD be willing to make their home appealing to as many people as possible.  Not only does removing the clutter make the home look cleaner it also makes the home look larger.  Another thing that your clients can do to make their home more appealing is to Clean the home.  Nothing turns off a buyer more than a dirty home.   If you can get your clients to do some of these things I feel that their home wi...
