Citizens of Overland Park, parents of Blue Valley district students and residents of Mills Farm, Polo Fields, Blue Stem and other Quivera Road subdivisions are all taking chances each time they drive through the W 165th Street intersection. Just south of the intersection there is a dip in Quivera Road which causes a sight line issue. For at least 5-7 seconds, drivers have a blind spot as they approach the intersection which currently only has one stop sign for cars entering Quivera Road from W165th Street.
