Poplar Woods is located on Highway 42 in Goshen just past the Goshen Store on the right if you are heading away from Louisville. Poplar Woods is a conservation development and consists of 203 acres. There are going to be 93 lots in Poplar Woods with over 100 acres of open space. There are many trees bordering the develpoment and as you drive in you will see many more trees the developer has planted. There was an agent open house out at Longwood in Goshen KY today and I took the tour. Well, they were giving away a 50" TV and free lunch so I went hope to win and at the very least get a good meal. I got the good meal, the tv however, it would not have fit in my car anyway. But I did see some wonderfull homes. Longwood is in Goshen and it is a short trip back to the Gene Snyder, only about 5 miles or so. You go through Prospect, Turn left at the light on 1793 and Longwood has 2 entrances across from the North Oldham Campus and right before the firestation. A really convenient spot. Beautiful homes, most, if not all with first floor masters. Many with finished basements that had great places for entertaining.
