How are your New Years Resolutions going thus far??My husband and I have decided we need to exercise more this year!!So we signed up at “First Baptist Church Christian Recreation Center.My husband has had some health problems the last 2 years which has keep us on the road going back and forth to Doctors from gall bladder surgery to open heart, and then stints.First Baptist Church has a wonderful facility and for only $45 a year we can we use everything that is available.they have a walking track, weight room, aerobic classes, kick boxing, boot camp and lots more !!So far so good we have walked everyday, cut out the fast food, and eating more fruit and vegetables!!My husband sugar has dropped lower that it has ever been and I have lost 3 pounds. McKee Lodge, and the Easter Star arrange for Santa and His Personal Elf to visit Carnaby Square Assisted Livingjust before Christmas!!! OES Served punch, cake, candy and cookies!! Christmas Day in London, Kentucky was beautiful!! The sun was shining, warmer than usual around 53*!!                                 It's Amazing that the Squirrels are not afraid of the deer.  They love the corn and sweet feed that my husband put in the corn box.  Sometimes the deer will just stand back and watch, they don't run the squirrel off but sometimes the Squirrels run the deer off!! She comes back later and brings her babies to the Corn Box!! I love our Wild Life in London, KENTUCKY!!!           09/04/2011

My Grandchildren are back in school.  The first day was last Wednesday!!                                 I love BOOKS!!! I love to read better than watching TV.  So I go to the Laurel County Public Libarary at least once a week! Check out their WEB Site, it's wonderful!                                    The New Library was opened in 2003 with 25,000 Sq. Ft. and approximately 25,000 visitors each month.  There are Approximately 120,000 Book, 40 Computers, and Lots of Peace and Quite!! We had a White Christmas in London This year and it was Beautiful!!! It's been several years since we have had Snow for Christmas. My son had to work Christmas Day so we had Our Christmas Dinner on Christmas Eve!!      Of course we had TURKEY!!! My husband cooked even tho he is just recovering from Gall Bladder surgery!! Thanks Hubby!!!It was VERY GOOD!!                 Grandchildren opening Presents                   So on Christmas Day my husband and I headed to the Cineplex in Corbin to watch the remake of TRUE GRIT, Which was a very good Movie.  When we came out of the movies there was White everywhere!!!                              Finding the Driveway the next day Was a Little Difficult!!!!!!  The Last photo  was taken from my front door!! May God bless the Families of 9-11 and give the a Peace that passes all understanding. My heart goes out today for all those who lost family and friends on this day 9 years ago. My thoughts and Prayers are with our Military and their Families and Especially for Mothers that has lost their Sons while serving our Country! My son served a Year in Iraq and I am so blessed that he came home. I had the privilege of touring the New Saint Joseph Of London Hospital that will be officially opened on August 19,2010.   Saint Joseph Hospital sits on 52 Acres, costing approx. $152Million, with 120 Private Rooms, 6 story with 5 completed. They will have  a Celebration opened to the public on July 23, 2010 with, Tours, Refreshments, and Music.
