ELVIS IS ALIVE AND DOING WELL!!!     That is His MEMORY is Alive and doing well in Memphis, Tenn.  I have Been a Elvis Fan ever since I was a little girl so going to Graceland last week was a Great and exciting Trip for me. The first time I saw Elvis I was only 2 years old. My Mother and I went to the movies to see Love Me Tender. She said when Elvis died in this movie I cried. I LOVED ELVIS then and Love him today. As a teenager growing up in the Mountains of  Grundy,Virginia I was never able to attend any of his concerts. My Aunt Judy, was fortune enough to be able to attend several of his concerts and still has the ticket to the last Concert that was scheduled which never took place. Elvis died before the Scheduled Concert. Graceland was GREAT!! Memphis is a town with a lot of Histor...

My husband and I started out on our journey to WV his home town on October 11th.  For our first Anniversary I bought us tickets to the WVU game in Morgantown, WV because we both LOVE FOOTBALL!!! How Lucky is he having a wife who loves football as much as he does!!!!! We had a BLAST and all I can say is I DON’T WANT TO WATCH FOOTBALL ON THE BIG SCREEN T.V. EVER AGAIN!!!! The stadium was fantastic, we didn’t have to stand in long lines and it was clean. There were WVU fans everywhere!!! We even stopped in at the Varsity Club and had a couple beers before the game, I told my husband he is the LUCKIEST MAN EVER, Beer and Football at ten o’clock in the morning and I was more excited than he was. Hope you enjoy the pictures!! GO WVU!!!!!

This Sunday was a Great day for me, Because I was blessed to get to visit with my Aunt Judy. She is the only living Aunt that I have and She has been battling Cancer for approx 5 months. My Mother only had one sister, my Aunt Judy, which I have never called her Aunt because she is the sister I never had. My mother died with cancer 11 years ago this month at the very young age of 60. And my Grandmother died with cancer 3 yrs ago at the age of 94.The four of us were close . We were always doing something when we were together wheather it was shopping or just cooking, laughing and enjoying life. Even tho, I haven't seen my Aunt Judy in 2 years, we have keep close contact by phone.   She has worked 40 years as a Nurse in Grundy, Va. At the Grundy Hospital until recently when she was diagn...

Sunday afternoon and here we go, my husband  and I start out to the airport.   It's been awhile since I've been up in our small plane.  He flies often between  Paris and London which is about a 45minute trip.  Of course that is Paris, Ky and London, Ky.  But today we are just flying around London.  The leaves are changing but they are  not as colorful as they usually are because of the dry weather.  Hope you enjoy the aerials.

I HAD THE PRIVILAGE OF MEETING DALE AND CONNIE ISON FROM HILLSBORO, OHIO THE PROUD OWNERS OF THE "HEROES TRUCK"   I AM NOT A BIG TRUCK FAN, BUT I  WANTED TO SEE THIS TRUCK BECAUSE IT IS DESIGNED TO HONOR OUR TROOPS, PAST AND PRESSENT. YOU SEE OUR MEN AND WOMEN IN THE ARMED FORCES HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART. MY SON HAS SERVED 13 MONTHS IN IRAQ AND IS DUE TO SERVE ANOTHER TERM. SO I HEADED TO K-MART PARKING LOT THIS AFTERNOON WHERE "CRUISIN ON MAIN" WAS FEATURING "HEROES TRUCK". DALE AND CONNIE WERE SO SWEET AND I HAD A VERY NICE CONVERSATION WITH CONNIE AND I TOLD HER HOW MUCH I APPREICATE WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO HONOR OUR TROOPS, OF COURSE I HAD TO TELL HER ABOUT MY SON AND SHE SAID "TELL YOUR SON WE ARE PROUD OF HIM" THE TRUCK IS A 1999 CHEVROLET WITH A CADILLAC CIIP. THE COST WAS...
