All of us in Richmond KY have been driving by the building in the Richmond Centre for months with our mouths watering just waiting for the grand opening. About the name: The koto (琴 or 箏) is a traditional Japanese stringed musical instrumentderived from the Chinese guzheng. The koto is the national instrument of Japan. I was honored to be one of the first guests to sample the food a day before the Grand Opening. I headed over with a BFF(Dee) and was warmly welcomed by Charlie the General Manager and the staff including Tony the Bar Manager and Sasha. KOTO is owned by Mr. Dong, this is his second restaurant in KY.
