The Lower Garden DistrictNew Orleans 70130          Once you go under the Mississippi River Expressway you are in the Lower Garden District. A truly historic neighborhood established between 1820 and 1840. At that time is was like living in the country.        The Lower Garden District extends to Jackson Avenue between St. Charles Avenue and the Miss. River. Lots of current activity in the real estate world.       The Lower Garden District area is a short walk to Magazine Street Shops and Eats. Great area to walk and window shop.         There are quite a few condo complexes in the area. They are going to be small complexes as most were converted from apartment buildings and old homes. It's is great area to look and see what a historic neighborhood it is.       I have sold many in the a...

Lower Garden District CondosSt. Mary, St. Andrews, St. CharlesNew Orleans     There are a number of condo associations in the Lower Garden District. I picked a couple of streets where conversions were made into condos from townhouse doubles. Most are histroic in nature once you move from St. Charles Avenue.     I have sold at least one in each of the condos on St. Mary and St. Andrews. Many on St. Charles as well. Saint Mary Street 1440 St. Mary Street Condos1444 St. Mary Street, Near Prytania1520 St. Mary Street, Nine Condos Saint Andrews Street 1326 St. Andrews StreetHistoric Townhouse Double turned into condos. St. Charles Avenue Condos 1224 St. Charles Ave, Near Lee Circle, Couple of blocksOn the Streetcar line, 1224 St. Charles Ave.

Jackson Avenue CondosEdge of Garden District    There are a number of Condos on Jackson Avenue between Magazine Street and St. Charles Avenue. This makes it an easy walk to Magazine Street and St. Charles Avenue. There are several on Prytania Street near the intersection of Jackson Avenue. I call most of these neighborhood  condos as they are surrounded by residential homes on the edge of the Garden District. 1450 Jackson Avenue Historic Condos    1441 Jackson Avenue,Corner of Prytania1436 Jackson Avenue Condos, 5 Stories, Large Units1430 Jackson Ave., More Recent Conversion1129 Jackson Avenue Townhome Condos, Near MagazineCorner of Jackson Ave. and Constance Street1002 Jackson Avenue, Corner of Constance.
