  October was a BIG month in terms of home sales in Bellingham! We  saw 15 homes being sold.  The average list price was $241,100 and the average sale price was $233,406.  On top of that, 13 homes are currently under agreement with an average list price of $247,857.  The average market time for homes being sold was only 73 days and for those under agreement, it was 132 days. Comparatively, October 2010 saw 13 homes being sold, however, the average list price was $280,547 and the average sale price was $271,350.  The average market time was 78 days – fairly similar from year to year. I was not feeling that good old holiday cheer and thought some snow would help. I should'nt have said that because the Law of Attraction was listening and sent a blizzard to New England the day after Christmas.  We got a foot of snow here in Bellingham, MA. Not to be outdone the Law of Attraction has now conspired with Mother Nature and we are in the midst of a second Blizzard of the season. Total so far? 15 inches and still falling.   Dude where's my grill? 3 hours later:   Dude, seriously, where's my grill?   Thank God for condo living! We won't be breaking out backs trying to shovel out of this mess. And to dear Mother of Nature and her cohort the Law of Attraction- YOU WIN

I'm becoming my mother more and more every day.  She's a master at mixing leftovers and making a delicious meal. We now have two kids and need to be more frugal than ever.  I've been making meals with pantry leftovers and last nights was a hit!
