Eastham Massachusetts has over 5,000 residential properties and more than half of them are second homes.  Eastham is bounded by Welfleet and Orleans, the Atlantic Ocean, and Cape Cod Bay.  Less than half of the properties in Eastham are second homes (40%+-).  There are great beaches on The Atlantic Ocean and on cape Cod Bay and Eastham calls itself the "gateway to the National Seashore."  Even with its high second home percentage, Eastham had very few of its homes in pre-foreclosure as of May 6, 2008.
