Yesterday Franklin, MA enjoyed its first significant snowfall of this season with 2-4 inches blanketing the trees.  It really was a beautiful sight to behold even though I prefer warmer weather generally.  As you can see here, some of my friends REALLY love the snow!  We are very accustomed to changing weather in Massachusetts and are always ready for the dramatic temperature fluctuations.  Last week it was 60 degrees one day but mostly in the 40-50 degree range which is warmer than normal for early December.    It is true that New Englanders never get bored with the weather because it does change so frequently.  I guess it makes life interesting.  Our daughter, in Los Angeles, says she is bored with her constant "perfect" weather.  She always looks forward to seeing the leaves change t... 12/07/2009
