(Centsable Inspection)
An Ipswich MA home buyer should receive a brochure, Home Inspectors Facts for Consumers Sheet, at the time of the signing of the first written contract to purchase. A standard home inspection in Massachusetts is a visual examination of the physical structure and major interior systems of a residential building consisting of one to four dwelling units. It should be understood that there are certain risks inherent in the purchase of property and a home inspection is inherently limited in its scope and depth. The information gained from home inspection conforming to the Massachusetts Home Inspector Standards of Practice may reduce some of those risks, but the home inspection is not intended to provide the client with protection from all of the risks involved. Maplecroft Farm in Ipswich In a special Town Meeting the residents of Ipswich voted by a vast majority to  protect the property known as Maplecroft Farm in perpetuity. The nearly 250 acre property is considered the crown jewel of the Ipswich Open Space Committee. Most residents of the area consider the move as a visionary investment in the town's future. Others feel that more active recreational usage should be part of the deal with the Raymond family. Some nay sayers see it as a sort of 'bailout' for the wealthy owner, Ted Raymond. Here is some info on Maplecroft Farm

Welcome to Ipswich Massachusetts, a traditional  New England town 25 minutes North of Boston featuring many 17th and 18th century historic houses. Originally, Ipswich was a farming community with rich landscapes of rolling hills and pastures. Fishermen could be found throughtout the population and for a long period of time shipbuilders also called Ipswich home. Cranes Beach is a popular attraction for summer fun and leisure activities. Crane HouseIpswich is also famous for native clams and still has an active clamming industry. Some of the most popular restaurants in town and around the world serve fried clams from Ipswich. The beaches are breath taking with natural sand dunes and tidal pools and children as well as adults watch the gulls and sand pipers on hot summer days. Ipswich Mass...

Set on the River for which it was named, Ipswich offers canoeing, swimming and shellfishing along its banks.  A close-knit community, Ipswich offers the advantages of a fine school system, ample facilities for leisure time (including many fine restaurants), and an easy commute into Boston by train or via Routes 1A, 128 and I-95.An extensive variety of home styles are available, including modern condominiums, new housing developments, smaller residences for first-time buyers and stately colonials.  Cranes Beach and Castle Hill deserve particular attention.Regards,Jay Burnham, VPColdwell Banker Residential BrokerageNorth Shore, Massachusetts
