Medfield MA 3rd Quarter 2018 Real Estate Market OverviewThe very strong Sellers' Market continues in Medfield MA for the 3rd quarter of 2018. In all price ranges, houses are selling very quickly. A total of 52 single family homes sold in the 3rd quarter, an increase from 39 sold in the 2nd quarter and 19 in the first quarter. Demand for real estate is higher than the amount of inventory available for sale. Medfield is no exception! With only 43 houses for sale...representing just 1.2% of the 3,524 single family homes in Medfield...it's important for Sellers and Buyers to understand how this translates to individual homes. 2015 Medfield MA Real Estate Market Review Looking outside today at the blue skies and bright sun I have to say that I am SO grateful! Remember this time last year when we had just been hit by Winter Storm Juno?Despite the slow start, there were 159 single family homes sold in Medfield in 2015. This represents a 13% increase in the number of single family homes sold over 2014 (as per MLS). Medfield Police Log Advises A Realtor Impersonation Yesterday's daily Patch reports that a woman walked into the local police house to report that she had been duped by someone, a lady, claiming to be a Realtor.   Apparently this women got into her home and walked off with a chest.   My first thought is that it sounds just crazy.    But is it? I often get calls from folks I don't know who invite me into their homes to do a market analysis or a consult.   In fact my business depends on it!      In 25 years, I have never been asked to show an ID.    In lieu of that, I always hand my new prospective client a business card.    Unlike most Realtors,  I no longer bother to have a photo on my business card and rather use our logo in place of that.    It drives me crazy when I see cards that do...
