As a 15 year Franklin, Massachusetts area Realtor, there are certain real estate related terms that I have become accustomed to.  One of those terms is "fixer-upper" which conjures images of a home with missing appliances, holes in the wall, and generally a whole lot of work that would likely overwhelm most buyers. I had an interesting conversation with one of my sellers today in which he informed me that my marketing and photos were very good however they "seem to make the home appear better than it is".  He explained that although the home needs some bathroom and kitchen updating, he would prefer that I describe the house as a "fixer-upper" so buyers will have low expectations when they come.  We have had a few showings now and buyers seem to feel the home requires more updates than t...
