North Quincy borders Boston's Dorchester section. There is a T Station in North Quincy with Red Line access to Boston, and easy highway access, making this area very popular with commuters. North Quincy also borders Milton and the Wollaston and Squantum sections of Quincy. Wollaston Beach is actually partly in North Quincy.Back in the early 1800's, there was a horse racing track in the North Quincy section that was owned by the Jockey Club of Boston.In the 1960's the State Street office park was built on what used to be marshland.
