The summer vacation is winding down and it is time to start thinking of school clothes and supplies, after school activities, homework, lining up for the bathroom in the morning, and everything else that goes along with the busy school year.   Although Swansea Public Schools teachers and staff will be starting a few days earlier, 1st grade through 12th grade students first day of school this year is Monday August 30th. Real Estate Market Activity for the 1st half of 2011 according to MLS Market Statistics is summarized below:   For the period of January 1 through June 30 2011, 60 properties sold (single family, multi family and condos) in Swansea, MA. For the same period in 2010, 70 properties sold.
