Today, August 6th is a terrific day!  For 28 years ago, on a Wednesday at approximately 3:09 pm, my world rocked, pivoted, and then turned upside down. At 3:08 pm I was one year out of Babson College, working downtown in finance at Boston Safe Deposit & Trust Co..  I was a happy guy with an incredible wife and a career in the making.  I was just a guy from Wellesley on the journey of life.   And then at 3:09 pm - BOOM!! Last week I started looking for a place to work out and lose a few pounds like the rest of us.  I did a search on Boot Camp Wellesley and came across this site www.BostonAdventureBootCamp.com. The classes started on Monday July 14th.  The class runs for 4 weeks from 5:30am - 6:30am. They have a 5-day class and a 3-day class.  They are absolutely fantastic way to get in shape with people who have the same goals.  I would recommend this class to anyone who wants some motivation to get up and get your work-out OVER or to get together with a bunch of women all striving to get in shape, stay in shape or whatever they want from the class. It is really awesome.  We are starting our 2nd week and it doesn't hurt so bad. Still can't get used to waking up at 4:45am to get going.  But we will see s... 07/15/2008

  I love the ocean.  I love real estate, but I LOVE the ocean. All my life, I've marked each important milestone with a song by the Beach Boys.  I left Wellesley High behind, to "Graduation Day."  I enjoyed my summers to the sounds of "Fun, Fun, Fun," I whiled away many a monent to  "California Girls;" and I knew I'd met the girl who'd become my wife as we cruised off the coast of Long Beach to the tune of "Sloop John B."   Well,  my home town became the scene of many of  my lifelong fantasies when the Beach Boys turned up in Wellesley this past week to "rock out."  The home team turned out in droves, and even though the band is not quite the original Beach Boys, they sang the memories of our youth.   Kids danced,  parents grooved, and the boys from the class of Wellesley High '73 came... 05/24/2008
