Thinking of becoming a "For Sale By Owner" in Worcester County Massachusetts?   Before you decide to become a FSBO ( for sale by owner), consider the extra time and money involved. Remember, Real Estate Agents perform many tasks, the scope of which you may not realize and all of which you would have to complete solo if you sold on your own. Some you actually do not have the ability to do at all. Tasks that real estate agents may do for sellers include:    •Creating a comparative market analysis of homes in your area to determine the correct pricing for your home compared with the competition. •Uploading your home's information into the Multiple Listing Service, a database of homes on the market that can only be accessed by licensed real estate professionals. •Coordinating all the necess...

365 Things to do in Worcester County - Enjoy a Slushy at Seven Eleven in Worcester.  That's right people, one of my all time guilty pleasures is to enjoy a frozen concoction called a slushy.  Some times it goes by the name Slurpee.  Either way you slice it, a slushy is a cold, sweet drink made of flavoring, sugar and crushed ice.  It is very refreshing and if you are lucky, your tongue will turn an unusual color, may be blue or hot pink.   My favorite spot to get a slushy is at seven eleven.  This is due to several reasons.  For one thing, there are so many varieties.  You can easily find blue raspberry, watermelon, cola, mountain dew and the like.  But my favorite is the guilt free sensation - Crystal Light sugar free variety.  The flavors changes once in a while and right now they are...

365 things to do in Worcester County - Shopping for electronics in Worcester Best Buy.  So my daughter won this best buy gift card to Best Buy for writing a phenomenal essay.  She asked me to take her to Best Buy so that she could do some shopping for electronics.   I thought what a wonderful opportunity it is to do a blog on 365 things to do in Worcester County - Shopping for electronics in Worcester Best Buy.  My daughter decided that she wanted an improvement on her IPod.  That means that I would be adding quite a bit to her gift certificate.   This is when I coined the phrase "Walking Wallet".  As every parent recognizes, it is not our company or even our opinion a teen ager is looking for when they utter "Mom, Dad, let's go shopping!"  It is our chauffeuring and wallet carrying abi...

365 things to do in Worcester County - Pic Nic at Institute Park Worcester.  Ever wonder where you can take your sweet heart that is close by, yet feels like a resort.  Well, I found just the place a few days ago.   Institute Park is across the street from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, one of the best colleges in the state.  It is right in the middle of Worcester.  However, it feels like your are at a peaceful country club.  There is a beautiful pond and lush green grounds, a gazebo to gather with friends. On this particular day, I was joined by a lot of teenagers and one beautiful swan.  I took a short video to share with you. Why not pack a pic nic lunch and steel away for the afternoon?  You really can enjoy your self in Worcester with all these hidden treasures.  I love doing thi...

Thanks to the amazing opportunity from Gary Keller, by putting me on stage in front of 10,000 people at our Mega Camp event, dozens of agents have reached out to me for help with FSBO prospecting. So far I have been honored to spend over 6 hours on the phone with agents in different parts of the country. As much as I love helping others, and my real passion is coaching and sharing my knowledge, if I continue to answer everyone's calls I am going to fall behind in my business. Thinking about allot this, I feel it would make sense to create a FSBO prospecting system and offer it out to the Real Estate industry. I am going to start working on a program with videos, templates and scripts ASAP. My goal is to have something tangible, outstanding and ready for production in Spring 2011. I am a...

365 things to do in Worcester county - walk for a cure to end Juvenile Diabetes in Worcester.  Ok, so I've never done this before and I am really excited about the walk for a cure to end Juvenile Diabetes.  I have donated before but never participated. So may be I am a bit selfish, since I have diabetes myself.  May be I'm a bit self centered.  But when you think about it, 80 years ago, when someone was diagnosed with diabetes, it was a death sentence.  Now we live with this disease. But life is not easy, it is a see-saw on high and low sugars and neither one is fun.  When I  have low sugar, I have sweats, shakes, weakness.  Trust me no fun.  If I don't get some sugar into my system, I can go into a coma or worse (haven't happened yet).  If my sugar is too high, I feel lethargic, very t...

365 things to do in Worcester county -Challenge a speeding ticket in Worcester court house.  Yes folks, today I am writing about my personal experience in the Worcester Court House.  But my experience did not start out today, it actually began many months ago when I was coming home from a long day of volunteering at the Jeremiah's Inn, a halfway house in Worcester.  I was going home on Mill St. and got pulled over by a police officer, deftly hiding in the bushes. Now, for those of you who know me well, I am not a rebel.  I was tired and was going slow enough to cause a car to go by me on the left, and pass me just as the officer walked out of his hiding spot and motioned in our general direction to pull over.  We did.  As soon as I pulled over I noticed that the car in front of me drove...

365 things to do in Worcester County -go out to dinner in Worcester - Some of my favorite restaurants are advertising their specials.  They are Via, Sole Proprietor and 111 Chop House.  Now, I'm a fan of sea food so my pick will always be Sole Proprietor, but if you are a meat lover, I heard really good things about 111 Chop House.  For Italian food, run don't walk to Via.   I typically like to take my clients out to lunch at the Sole.  The prices are reasonable and they make mean crab cakes, just the way I like them with a side of mashed potatoes.  There are pleanty of specials out tonight.  So my choice for 365 things to do in Worcester County - go out to dinner in Worcester.
