My son and I just drove past the Mount Saint Mary's Abbey in Wrentham, MA near to our Franklin, MA home and happened to witness the assembly of the wind turbine on top of the recently assembled tower!  It was quite a sight to behold as the top was being put on... I checked their website and the nun's Twitter (I kid you not) updates follow the recent progress and disappointments of their eagerly anticipated project.  The monastery intends to become self-sufficient regarding their energy use and was fortunate enough to have the ideal setting for a wind turbine to be installed.  A recent article in The Boston Herald details the project and how funding was obtained. 12/15/2009
