 It wasn’t an impromptu open house, but we still had two good showings in an hour.  Two days ago, an agent requested an appointment through our Showing Time on my listing  2911 Montebello Terrace. Immediately responded and set up to show the property today at 12:30.  Another agent sent a text at 1:00 am this morning saying he may have a buyer for this home. My return text, send them at 12:30. Just Opened - Creole Soul RestaurantAre  you craving some down home southern soul food?  Then you really have to try Creole Soul Restaurant located in R House in Remington, MD.  Last Friday after Floor Duty, my son Liam, and I took a drive up to Remington to try Creole Soul.  The chef and her husband had visited one of my open houses last year and we got to talking about one of my favorite topics - food, recipes and cooking.  I make a mean Gumbo myself and passable Red Beans and Rice (I am an honorary southerner).  Chef Neal’s Gumbo is different than mine, I don’t have crab legs in mine, but it is every bit as good as mine.  Liam had a Shrimp Po Boy Sandwich and my other son, Lyle, had an Oyster Po Boy Sandwich, I also ordered the obligatory greens, which were out of this world amazing....

No Longer Interested; Rescind Your Offer If you make an offer to purchase a property, but then change your mind and decide that you no longer are interested in making the purchase, before the offer is accepted, then rescind your offer. Here is an example.  The numbers have been changed so that the guilty are not exposed and so that the innocent are protected. I have a house listed for $150,000.  The Seller will take less and, in fact, an offer comes in that he is willing to take at $125,000.  However, before accepting it, he decides that he would like to see if he can get the Buyer to come up in price so he says that he would consider it at $140,000. I send an email to the Buyer's Agent stating that the Seller will consider the Buyer's offer if the price is changed to $140,000. A key po...

Big Grey is at the Shelter Forlorn and almost completely forgotten, Big Grey roamed the lonesome rooms and walls of its domain, until yesterday. With a contract to purchase on the way for this big old house, a place which had been considered home for most of its life, it was time for this proud feline to move on to a new life. Not knowing what was beyond the walls of this enclosed world, it was not going to make this change without serious uneasiness and constraint. Two crates were available at the house either of which might be used as a possible carrier for transporting the cat to its new temporary location at the shelter. One crate was a normal cat carrier and the other crate was a trap. The cat had not eaten for over a day so the thought was that all that would be needed to lure it ...
