The Chic-fil-A in Bowie, MD is at the Top in Customer Service for Fast Food Restaurants   The Chic-fil-A located on 16503 Ball Park Road, Bowie, MD 20716 in Prince George's County Maryland has the best customer service...plus the food is always hot and good.    I remember when Chic-fil-A first came to Bowie several years ago.  Bowie was in need of something new in the form of fast food...and Chic-fil-A was the answer. What Bowie residents got; and are still getting is hot fries, crispy chicken, great shakes and much more!   You would think that when you pull up to a fast food restaurant and see the parking lot filled with cars that you might think twice about stopping.  This is not the case with the Chic-fil-A in Bowie.  With lines draped around the Chic-fil-A restaurant several times...

Welcome to the bottom of the housing market. I didn't say this -Experts did. But have we really reached the bottom of the housing market? Well U.S June existing home sales up 3rd straight month - MarketWatch. Last time I believed this happened was in 2005. And most of us who were real estate professionals in 2005 knew what the real estate market was back then. I think that we have reached the bottom of the housing market in some areas but not every real estate market has fully recovered.   But is this good news for home buyers in DC or Prince George's County MD? Is this good news for home owners in DC and Prince George's County Maryland? DC and Prince George's County MD Sellers? Or is this bad news for home buyers and/or sellers? I think this is great news for both buyers and sellers. I...

Buy a home in the City of Bowie and receive a $2,000 grant if you’re a police officer, city employee or teacher.   You can find a real bargain in Belair at Bowie.  Some models are selling as much as $50–$75,000 below what they did only two years ago.   I have a beautiful listing that settles this week at just $275,000 – an owner occupied rancher with a huge addition, updated kitchen and baths, new windows and more.  That’s lower than the price of most townhones in nearby Crofton, Gambrills or Odenton.  In fact, there are more than 500 homes for sale in Greater Bowie right now, including 107 in the nearby 20715 zipcode.  They range from $160,000 for a townhome in Belair Town to $639,000 for a home in Saddlebrook West. My son and his family live in Belair at Bowie, and they love their loc...

We no longer order a Reuben anywhere else because we know it will not measure up to those at Rip’s in Bowie.  In fact, Rip’s is always on the list of favorite local restaurants I give to relocating homebuyers, along with the notation “World’s Best Reuben.”  But I’m not hesitant to try something different at Rip’s, and I’ve never been disappointed.  My other lunch-time favorites include their Crab Melt Sandwich and their Quiche, while Larry likes Eggs Montoya.  Check out their menus for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner online – you’ll see their prices are as good as their food.  And speaking of their food, everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients, using recipes that have been favorites of Rip’s customers since it opened in 1952.    Rip’s menu and quality food are not the only t...

Some people join Active Rain but never put a face on their profile . Some people have joined Active Rain and they never blog at all-Ex: When you click on some bloggers "My Blog" link on the left hand sand it will read this -"This user has not entered anything in their blog yet". Some people have joined Active Rain thinking that they will automatically get business without blogging-(When that happens, please let me know). They have not only written no blogs but don't even make comments on other peoples blog. But these Active Rain top new comers who I consider also "Active Rain Breakout stars of 2008" not only joined Active Rain, but they made an impact as well. We just closed on this short sale in Adnell Woods in Bowie MD - This property was just a year old and was originally sold for $650,000 in July 2007 and we just close the short sale for $450,000. The property is located in old Bowie MD a new subdivision with similar homes. The property boasts of many upgrades with huge backyard, sun room and finished basement. The short sale lender for this property is Specialized Loan. This is one short sale that did not give much grief as the loan lender is very responsive. We are able to talk to the loss mitigation department quickly and a negotiator was assigned within two weeks of getting all the required documents.  We ran into some problem when the lender  is  concerned about the current value and they wanted multiple BPO- luckily I have comparabl...

If you want to be scared to death and have some good family fun, head to the Bowie Baysox stadium for the Annual Haunted House. For seven years this area event has enjoyed the facilities at the stadium, but this has been an area fixture for 22 years. Due to the nature of the images and themes in the production, it has been rated PG-13, unsuitable for children under 13 without the supervision of an adult. Parental discretion is highly encouraged and advised. Portions of the ticket sales are donated to local charities. In the last eight years, Tulip Gulch Productions has donated almost $17,000 to organizations such as the Bowie Food Pantry and Belair Bath and Tennis. Worth a scream or two.
