Kentlands 2015 Facilities Pass Updates    Updating facilities passes for 2015 is now taking place.  This notice is being circulated by the Kentlands Citizens Assembly. Please come by the Clubhouse to update your pass(es) and sign up for your Guest Pass prior to the pool opening on Saturday, May 23.  Passes will not be updated on Memorial Day. Just a few guidelines on updating passes: Avoid long lines when the pool opens by updating your passes beginning February 17 and throughout March, April and early May. Please bring the passes for your whole family to the Clubhouse at one time to have them updated. There will be four days of extended hours (see below) for you to update your pass(es).  If you cannot update your pass during regular and/or extended hours, you may drop your pass(es) off...

Honey Moon Viognier, 2012, California Wine   Honey Moon Viognier, 2012, is an inexpensive California white wine that we purchased at the Trader Joe's store in Williamsburg, Virginia. If you are not familiar with Viognier wines, this is a good one to sample for a new experience. “The Honey Moon 2012 Viognier had a nose full of peaches and nectarines. There was also a great concentration of jasmine, minerals, and candied lemon peel. The wine was similar in flavor with the addition of honey, apricots, and white pepper. The acidity in this wine was actually higher than some Viognier I’ve had in the past but it’s not too acidic. Extraordinary Gaithersburg:  Sherman Ealy     This announcement was published by the City of Gaithersburg, Maryland: Sherman Ealy has been a crossing guard with the Montgomery County Police Department for 25 years. Book Recommendation: Silent Mercy by Linda Fairstein   Dolores and I really like the crime novels by New York Times bestselling author Linda Fairstein and are in the process of reading all of them. One of the side benefits of her novels is that you will learn much about New York City as you enjoy these crime stories. Lost and Found in Kentlands   The following notice is being distributed by the Kentlands Citizens Assembly: Have you lost any personal items, such as prescription glasses, sunglasses, or keys?  Please check with the Clubhouse front desk staff at 301-948-2071 to see if other items have been turned in. Please come to the Clubhouse during business hours ONLY (Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm) to describe and reclaim any item you may be missing.  Lost item(s) will be held for ninety days.  If not claimed, item(s) will be donated to a charitable organization.
