Gaithersburg Citizen Participation Encouraged in Public Safety Initiatives Two-way communication between the Gaithersburg Police Department and the public is critical to the success of public safety initiatives in our community.  Citizens sometimes fail to call the police because they feel the information is not relevant, or seems trivial.  However, this type of information is important to help identify trends, and can sometimes lead to solving a crime.  Every set of eyes on the street is valuable. The Gaithersburg Police Department encourages the public to call 9-1-1 in emergency situations, or to report non-emergency activities and information to 301-279-8000.   "I'm paying it with CA$H!"Everybody PAYS CASH!Unrealistic offers will be rejected quickly even if you tell them you got cash. . . Learn to work with the banks. .they aren't falling for the same tricks as a FSBO would. They want cash and they will get cash. . if they get it in the form of a check, transferred funds or a wheelbarrow full of quarters.. .it doesn't matter. . It's the same thing . . .CASH!As a matter fact, a good Realtor can negotiate for you aroundthe four discount factors: price, down payment, interest rateand closing costs.  Telling them you are paying cash most likely will not be helping you obtain the best price.Besides, if you have that much cash. . .you should be buying 3,4 even 5 properties not just one.Have you heard of leveraging your money? Crocuses are blooming in Kentlands - Roy and Dolores Kelley Photographs I like to take walks through Kentlands and Lakelands, in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  With my camera in hand, I watch for the changing colors of the season.  Taking a few photographs makes the walks more enjoyable.  Sometimes, great beauty may be found in the smallest things that we pass every day. We do not have too many flowers blooming at this time of the year, but the Crocuses are beautiful and the first Daffodils are now blooming.  Spring is coming!  What is blooming in your home neighborhood?
