Positive energy is called chi and negative energy is called sha.                  When I first heard about Feng Shui it was 11 years ago. I started to read all books and magazines I could find about this millenary philosophy and I ended taking a workshop in England.                  I apply the Feng Shui in every place I lived, including my work space and it really works for me. I gave some consultation to friends and family with successful happy endings....

It was established as the county seat in 1708 and remains in that post today.Over the years, Leonardtown has seen everything from the ravages of war when it was invaded by British troops during the War of 1812, to near economic ruin when a bypass was constructed in 1990. Throughout it all, the town served as the governmental hub of the county.Leonardtown has been experiencing a sort of renaissance in the past decade with new businesses, residential communities and a myriad of community activities all calling...

This weekend, Annmarie Gardens will be hosting two family fun events: the annual Sidewalk Chalkathon and Sunday FUNday.  The Chalkathon begins on Saturday, but I would like to suggest that you combine that activity with the events being held on Sunday FUNday.  The reason I suggest this is because you just might want to enjoy a day at the beach. On Saturday, August 8th, Leonardtown will be hosting a Beach Party on the Square.  Everyone in the family will enjoy the live music, entertainment, exhibits, crafts, games (including sand volleyball), antique car display and the fire truck hose downs.  And last, but not least, there will be plenty of great food as well. Annmarie Gardens' Sunday FUNday (August 9) family events will be held in the two Studio School buildings.  Activities include th...
