Detached homes – June  2014,   New Market, Md.   During the month of March, 34 detached homes in New Market, Md. were added to the market.  Of these homes 10 are currently under contract, two have been withdrawn from the market,  and the remaining 22 part of the 87 homes on the market.   During June, 30 detached homes in New Market have successfully completed the sales process.  This count is an increase of 87.5 percent from those sold in June of 2013.  The total value of the homes sold was $12,390,409,  more than double the figure from last June.  The median closing price of these homes was $410,362, this is a 18% increase from last June.   Eleven of the homes sold for list price or greater while the median closing price for the others came in at 97 percent of their last known list.   ...
