Listening to various buyers, I started listing what they said was important when buying a Baltimore home. These things come after selecting the right location, condition, style and of course price range.Here are a few, and they are in no particular order.Kitchen: open floor plan, white cabinets; double ovens; center island; gas cooking, stone or quartz counters; a single large sink; and a walk-in pantry.Parking: two-car garage, carport, but, at the minimum, definitely off-street parking.Butler's pantry for those who like to entertain.Main-level primary suite and laundry on bedroom level. Mudroom or a suitable place to unload groceries, packages, and hide shoes and coats with lots of hooks and storage.Wood flooring/or high-quality engineered wood.Double vanities and at least one bathtub....

A First Showing...Using My New iPad Today we had our first showing on this very large and spacious condo located at 4001 Old Court Rd. Pavilion in the Park. This beautiful condo is larger than most homes with over 2600 square feet. And it is unbelievably bright with huge windows on three sides. But today was a day of liquid sunshine  even though others would call it a rainy day. The condo was still bright even before the lights were  turned the lights on and the drapes opened.. We moved out...how does my condo look?    My newest listing   Pavilion in the Park  is on the market and the owners have recently moved. This young family needs a home! Their home went under contract and will be closing next month. With all the media talk about it being a buyer's market and how hard it is to sell a home....they listed their home with me and voila it sold!    In a few weeks this 4 bedroom 3.5 bath colonial will be on the market  because the call came today!                                              The original owners are in the process of getting this Willow Glen North Colonial  in show ready condition.     I am waiting to see if they are 100% Sure they want to list with me. Knowing the two questions that must receive positive answers..I am waiting for a phone call later today. Yes, I went on listing appointment yesterday. These sellers were referred to me by two people..one a best friend and one a former client (her sister). When I asked if they were 100% sure about selling..there was not much hesitation...just qualified by ..'if we get the right price.'  The second question:  Are you 100% sure you want to use me?  Another  HomeRome Listing in Stevenson 21208 With  Swimming Pool  is Under Contract..or as I like to say...Too Late. The "Too Late" Banner is placed on my listings when they go under contract. You can be with ActiveRainers without being with ActiveRainers. Our wonderful get together for lunch today at the Suburban House Restaurant was a huge success. There were two people with us not on the list.. One was Emily Medvec from Sante Fe who called yesterday asking for the address of the restaurant. This delightful white bear, a bunch of candy, including M&M's and a bouquet of balloons were waiting at our table when I arrived about 11:30AM. Even though Emily could not be with us in person...she was definitely with us.
